• Coast View (also know as Coastal View) is one of the most scenic rides in Marin. You can start from many different places including Pantoll, Muir Woods and Highway 1. This is a loop for intermediate to advanced riders, as there are a few strenuous climbs (click on the link above to download a PDF map of the loop).
  
  The long loop, which includes riding up Middle Green Gulch, takes 3-4 hours. You can skip Green Gulch by heading up the road towards Muir Woods at the bottom of Coast View, and connecting with Deer Park Fire Road.
  
  The loop circles the Frank Valley, which is a favored place for equestrians and hikers. Please observe the trail restrictions (no bikes) on Heather Cutoff and Redwood Creek Trail.
